The Michael Cuccione Foundation Kick for a Cure 2017 was a huge success!

Thank you to everyone for participating in another successful year with the Michael Cuccione Foundation Kick For A Cure - Over $170,000 has been raised!

Dear Event Partners, Sponsors and Particapants who supported the Kick For A Cure!

Thank you so very much for your outstanding support for the Michael Cuccione Foundation Kick For A Cure event in support of childhood cancer.

A huge thank you for helping us raised $172.590.88 and counting! It was a great time had by all and another very successful event. Funds raised from the Kick For A Cure will benefit the Michael Cuccione Childhood Cancer Research Program (MCCCRP) at BC Children’s Hospital.

This is an especially exciting year as the MCCCRP is embarking on a groundbreaking initiative as we prepare to offer the clinical trial CAR-T cell immunotherapy. This treatment will use the child’s own immune system and no chemo or radiation. This being offered here in British Columbia will mean that children’s families will not have to try and come up with $500,000 USD to be offered this potentially lifesaving treatment. Moreover, this treatment truly is revolutionary as it will offer hope to children with leukemia and lymphoma who are not successfully treated by other means and it does so with fewer side effects.

We are extremely excited on behalf of the Michael Cuccione Foundation to be a part of this and to be offering CAR-T Cell Immunotherapy at BC Children’s Hospital. With support from people like yourselves make this all possible so thank you again for your outstanding support for the Michael Cuccione Foundation.

See you next year!
