CMFSC 2019-2020 Season Head Coach Application Process  


Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club continues to run one of BC's top girls and boys programs and we will field teams at all levels and age levels where applicable. Be a part of one of BC's fastest growing and most successful soccer clubs. Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club is now accepting applications for Coaching Positions for Under 5 through Under 18 age groups for the 2019-2020 Season.

  • Initiation Academy (U5 to U7)

    Initiation Academy Coach Application Process (Under 5 to Under 7)


    For Coaches interested for Head Coaching & Assistant Coaching positions for the Initiation Academy (Under 4 to Under 7) positions please contact your Age Group Coordinators directly. When registering your child, please indicate on the online registration form that you would like to volunteer for a coaching position. 

    You do not need to fill out a coaching application.

    Minis House Coach Application Process (Under 8 to Under 12)


    For Coaches interested for Head Coaching & Assistant Coaching positions for the Under 8 to Under 12 House positions please contact your Age Group Coordinators directly. When registering your child, please indicate on the online registration form that you would like to volunteer for a coaching position.

    Coaching Certification Requirements: 

    Head Coaches of any youth team shall complete the appropriate Canadian Soccer Association / BC Soccer coaching course respective to the age group of the team(s) they are currently coaching. (Note: compliance with this rule will be as of June 1st, 2016).

    Head Coaches shall comply with this requirement within six (6) months of their Head Coach appointment. CSA foreign equivalency may be applied.

     
  • Under 11 & Under 12 Select

    Under 11 & Under 12 Select Head Coach Application Process


    For Coaches interested in a Head Coaching Position of an Under 11 or Under 12 Select TeamPlease fill out an online Coach Application form below. 

    Applications are due by February 15th.

    Criteria that is considered for applications:

    • Level of son/daughter (must be confirmation that your son/daughter is of the level required to compete on the team their parent is coaching)
    • Coaching Certification - Mandatory Learn to Train Certification as the minimum standard.
    • History Coaching with CMFSC
    • Playing Background
    • Coaching Reputation
    • Reference Checks

    All applicants will be contacted regarding their application by email or phone.  Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer would like to thank all applicants in advance for their interest in our Club.

    Assistant Coaches – No formal application is required.  Once Head Coaches are in place, you can contact the Team Head Coaches Directly about your interest or you can contact the respective Club Head Coaches (contact information below) .  Parent Assistant Coaches are not normally placed until after the player selections.

Upon acceptance, I will consent to, and promptly apply for, a Criminal History check, as per CMFSC policy, and agree that I will not be given a team until such time as the check process is complete.
