Minis Spring Program Information
Minis Spring Program 2018-2019 Information
As soccer continues to grow in popularity, we strive to support our players in their long term player development goals by providing a condensed additional Spring program as an extension of our Fall/Winter League program. The program consists of roughly 8 weeks of training including practices and games. Coaches should communicate with their teams early to confirm player availability and interest in continuing through April/May/June.
The Minis Spring program includes the following age groups:
|Program Age Group||U9||U10||U11||U12|
*Some age groups may be combined based on number of participating teams.*
OPTION 1: Registering as a Team
Participating teams are to register on Power Up as a team (not individually). A team official (coach or manager) should pay the fee, and then divide the cost by the number of participating players. The cost for the 2019 Spring program is $400 per team (roughly $40 - $50 per player). This fee will now include referee payment, as the Club will directly pay referees for games. Registration deadline for teams is March 7th.
OPTION 2: Combining Existing Teams or Players
If full teams are not participating, players are to contact Andrea Maloney (girls program) or Esteban Mora (boys program). Players will be placed with a team and are required to pay the same Spring team fees, but will be returned back to their regular team for the Fall. Interest must be confirmed by March 7th.
OPTION 3: *NEW* (Girls Only) New Player Registration
Female players that didn't participate in the Fall 2018-2019 League, are now able to register for the Spring program. Players will be placed on a team and required to pay the Spring team fees to that team. Additionally, players will also be required to fully register on Power Up for the Spring. The individual registration cost is $150 which includes player kit (jerseys, shorts, socks), player insurance, and administration fee. Please contact Member Services for more information and registration code. Individuals must complete registration by March 7th. If we are unable to place a player, a full refund will be provided.
The program will start in mid-April and end mid-June. Exact dates will be set in March. There will be no games Easter Weekend (April 19th - 21st) and no games Victoria Day Weekend (May 17th - 20th).
- Spring schedules will be set by Club Staff and provided directly to teams soon. Teams should be prepared to start roughly mid-April to mid-June.
