Srdjan is owner and director of Primo Sports Goalkeeper Academy which offers specialized training and aims to assist goalkeepers in pursuing soccer opportunities at post-secondary and professional levels.
Besides coaching, Srdjan works as a teacher in Coquitlam School District; he graduated from UBC with B.A. and B.Ed. degrees, and is currently completing his M.Ed. from Concordia University.Srdjan played youth soccer in Lower Mainland. After high school, he went on to play soccer professionally in Europe, where he spent 2 seasons playing in the Serbian Premier League, and 2 seasons in the Serbian Second Division. Upon his return to Canada, Srdjan won 2 CIS National Championships with UBC and 1 Championship with Vancouver Whitecaps prior to signing with Toronto FC for their inaugural MLS season. In 2010, Srdjan signed for Montreal Impact, becoming the first player in history to play for all three clubs. Srdjan has also played for the Canadian National U-20 team and was also called to the Senior Canadian National Team camps & roster 3 times.
Srdjan started his coaching career as the Men's Soccer Assistant Coach at The University of British Columbia, with whom he won CIS National Championships as the assistant in 2012. After this success he joined Kwantlen Polytechnic University as the Head Coach of Men's Soccer, where the team significantly improved their record each year and qualified for the National Championships in 2015, finishing 5th overall. Primo Sports Goalkeeper Academy provides the goalkeeping training for all CMFSC BCSPL and MSL goalkeepers.
