Heading into their third meeting, the CMF Venom would face a strong Upper Island Riptide for the U14 Girls Provincial A Cup Championship. Both previous match-ups had been close games, the first in the Coastal Cup semi-final ended with a PK win for Venom and the second, the previous day's match, ended in a tie.

After a hard fought, yet scoreless first half, the Upper Island Riptide would strike first in the second half when a re-direction to the bottom corner of the net eluded CMF Venom keeper, Paige Moriarity.

Midway through the second half, a long lead ball from Mika Hagiwara, headed forward by Ashley Moretto, would fall to Venom striker Birlyne Dionne. Before the Riptide defenders could clear it, Dionne would level the score to 1-1.

With both teams pressing hard offering opportunities to either end, extra time loomed. However it would be CMFSC that would find success. After a header by Gabriella Lambert from a long ball by Katelyn McCaskill, Birlyne Dionne tucked her second goal in after beating several Riptide defenders. Less than a minute later, the final whistle blew giving the U14 MSL Venom a 2-1 win and the Provincial title!

Congratulations Venom!
