Facing the BC Tigers, a team which defeated the Cobras last year, the CMF U14 Cobras were focused on getting a win on Saturday. Gabe had a break out game on Saturday. His relentless hustle and hard work had been building since the start of the season and his continued hard work paid off on Saturday.

With the game very tight in the opening first half. Gabe was able to figure out how to position himself and time his runs to break free. He helped the Cobras get on the scoreboard, following up with 3 more goals, putting the game out of reach for the opponent in the first half. With each touch of the ball, you could see his confidence growing. He was frusterating the defence, finishing his runs strong and pressuring on and off the ball. His hustle was infectious, with the rest of the team feeding off his energy, the game was well in hand for the Cobras, creative plays and ball control followed.

Well done Gabe and Cobra's on a great win!
