Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club

Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club is pleased to announce the selection of our 2021 BCSPL 2009 Intake team Head Coaches: Brianna Morden and Michael Mobilio. Both Brianna and Michael spent their youth soccer careers with Coquitlam Metro-Ford, going on to coach in various programs including the Initiation Program, Prospects Academy, Summer Camps, Age Group Head Coaches, team evaluations, player assessments, and both are currently assistant coaches in the BCSPL program with older teams.

Both Brianna and Michael have an immense passion for community development, and through soccer, both have been able to foster that passion. Brianna Morden continues to actively give back to the Club and the sport by volunteering her time to help out with the Club's Junior Mentorship Program, which helps current players to develop integral coaching and leadership skills. Michael Mobilio is a notable member of the fundraising group, Sheppy's Sheep, a group dedicated to raising money for Kick for a Cure and the Michael Cuccione Foundation, where all funds raised go towards Childhood Cancer Research at BC Children's Hospital.

CMFSC BCSPL Technical Director, Dale Mitchell, had to say, “We are proud to appoint two of our finest young coaches to work with our youngest BCSPL players. Brianna and Michael have been working in the younger age groups in our club for years as well as being assistant coaches in older age BCSPL teams. We think that the players will connect well with their combination of enthusiasm and knowledge.”
