Why did the 2010-2011 player registration fees increase, and why are some increases more than others ? |

Do I need to register before player evaluations ? |
A. |
Yes, only registered players will be allowed on the evaluation fields (this excludes players from outside CMFSC). Players registered with other clubs for last season, do not need to pay & register for the season until they are selected. (Only the free evaluation registration is required). |

Do I need to register for player evaluations if I have already registered online? |
A. |
Yes, if you are planning on being evaluated for a competitive team you must register both for the season and for evaluations. |

If I register and I don’t make the team, do I get a refund? |
A. |
Yes, if you are evaluated and not selected for the team, and then de-register from the Club, out-of-club players will be refunded 100% of your fees. Returning CMFSC players' refunds are subject to a $30.00 cancellation fee. |

Do I need to bring a photo if I am already carded? |
A. |
A new photo is required for U13 (the first year for cards); U14 Metro Girls; & U16 (all players). New players to CMFSC who are carded elsewhere can use their previous club’s cards except Metro and the preceding age groups. |

Do I need a photocopy of my birth certificate? |
A. |
Only those players who are previously uncarded with any club need birth certificates, as well as any new Minis players….please give these photocopies to your Team contact. |

Do I need to register for Y-League evaluations if I have already registered for CMFSC team evaluations ? |
A. |
Yes, these are separate evaluation processes. |

Do I need to register by a certain date? |
A. |
Yes, only those players who register by June 15th are guaranteed a position on a team (subject to Coach availability). After June 15th, a late fee of $30.00 applies, and team placement is not assured. |

If I played for CMFS last season do I still need to register? |
A. |
Yes, the same procedure applies to CMFSC players…only those players who register by June 15 th are guaranteed a position on a team (subject to Coach availability) |

Do Minis players also register for evaluations? |
A. |
Minis players only register for certain evaluations (eg U11 Select and U12 Gold) Players from U6-U10 are not evaluated. |

When will I know if I am accepted on a team? |
A. |
You will be contacted by a Coach immediately after evaluations (for evaluation team players) or before September 1st (non evaluation team players). |

Do I need to keep a receipt? |
A. |
If your child is under 16 years of age on January 1, 2010 you may qualify for the Child Fitness Tax Rebate. A formal tax eligible receipt will be issued late in February 2011 when the final details of fees paid for each player is determined for both the 2010-2011 season registration and any Academy enrolments for use on your 2010 tax return.
