CMFSC Academy Fall 2010 & Winter 2011 (October-February)We are pleased to be able to offer a High Performance Academy and a Player Academy for boys and girls as well as a Goalkeeping Academy. For more information and registration for the Player Academies click here.
CMFSC Development Program
Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer introduced the development program for the minis five years ago. Even at a young age, kids that are showing a significant desire and commitment to play the game of soccer and need an opportunity to learn within our club. The goal of the program is to give players that exhibit an advanced level of soccer skill and maturity the opportunity to continue to develop their talents in an environment that challenges them beyond their existing opportunities. CMFSC Under 13 to Under 18 Team Sessions
For the second season we will be offering TEAM SESSIONS for all Girls & Boys Under 13 to Under 18 Gold, Silver, Bronze, House, and Red teams. CMFSC Staff coaches will run these sessions. More information will be available soon about this program.
CMFSC Parent & Player Training Session
This session will be a good opportunity for parents & players to play together in an organized environment. The goal of this program is to give parents tools to help their children practice at home. As well we want to be able to educate parents so that they understand the skills, techniques & tactics that coaches are trying to teach their children. We will focus on the age groups of Under 6 to Under 10. This session will be held on Friday, September 24th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Town Center Stadium
We know that goalkeeping is often a neglected position with our mini players. Therefore, we will be holding complimentary goalkeeping clinics for boys and girls from the Under 8 through Under 12 age groups. There is no cost to these sessions and you may send as many players from your team as you would like to each session. All coaches are welcome to attend as well to pick up some goalkeeping tips. These sessions will give goalies basic skills to make them feel more comfortable when it is their turn in goal. More information on dates, locations, etc. will be available soon.
CMFSC Spring Break Camp
CMFSC will be running a Spring Break Camp in 2011. We will again hold a MINI MADNESS CAMP and DEVELOPMENT CAMP and more information will be available in Fall 2010.
CMFSC Spring Player Development Programs
For Spring 2011 the club will run a HIGH PERFORMANCE ACADEMY & WEDNESDAY SPRING CLINIC. More information on these programs will be available in 2011.
CMFSC Summer Camps
CMFSC will again run two Summer Camps in 2011, one in July and one in August. We will again hold a MINI MADNESS CAMP, DEVELOPMENT CAMP, and GOALKEEPING CAMP. Information will be available in 2011.
