General information

The Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club will host The Coquitlam Metro-Ford 24th Annual Labour Day Tournament.  The tournament will take place from Friday, September 3rd to Monday, September 6th 2010. 
The tournament is a competitive youth tournament open to boys and girls teams in the following ten divisions:

Length of Games (including all final games)
U13 & U15 – 30 minute halves
U16 & U18 – 35 minute halves

Number of Games
There is a four game guarantee for divisions U13 – U16 and a three game guarantee for divisions U17 & U18.  The number of games is subject to field conditions and inclement weather.  In some divisions, there may be a final for a fifth (U13-U16) or fourth (U17 & U18) game. 
The tournament will start for most teams on Friday night.

Concessions & Venues
All games and tournament headquarters will be based out of Town Centre Park.
There are four turf fields and two grass fields at this complex.
The facility includes a full concession, change rooms, washrooms, etc.

Awards
Gold and Silver awards for each division final. 

For the final game in each division (playing for 1st and 2nd), each Head Coach will chose a tournament MVP of their team and an award will be provided.

Registration Acceptance Policy
The tournament will plan for 8 teams in each division to participate.  We anticipate registration of eight teams at each of the 10 divisions.  The first confirmed 80 teams, with completed registration, will be accepted.
Tournament entry deadline is August 22, 2010.  Additional tournament entries will be accepted on an "as needed" basis.
Registration will be accepted starting May 15th until July 15, 2010 at - $375.00 CDN per team (maximum of 18 players per team).
On and after July 16, 2009, the cost will be $450.00 CDN per team.
Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC is very pleased to offer online registration. Payment can be made online by either Visa or Mastercard through our online registration system.

NOTE:  We will not accept any mail-in registration or payments by cheque.

Refund Policy
Teams notifying the registrar on or before July 15th of their withdrawal, in writing, will receive a 75% refund.  On, or after July 16th there will no refunds.

Entry Confirmation
An email contact is required for every team.
Your team is not confirmed as registered in the tournament until you have received email confirmation from the boys and girls team coordinator.  The contact information is noted at the end of this document.

Included in your online registration acknowledgement email will be a hyperlink, which will become active after the Registrar's confirmation of your team's acceptance is received. This link will provide an opportunity for your email contact (Team Manager/Coach) to revisit your registration and provide additional information...for example T-shirt sizes; Rosters and other non financial information…..changes will be accepted until August 22, 2010.

First Aid
Each team is responsible for its own first-aid requirements.

Game Officials
There will be one game official for all round robin games at the U13-U15 divisions.
There will be three game officials for all games at the U16-U18 divisions.
Gold & Silver medal games, for all divisions, will have three game officials.

Schedules and Stats
Schedules will be posted on the web site by August 30th.  You will be sent an email to confirm the schedule posting.
The first games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday will not start prior to 9:00am.
If you have special requests for game times (i.e. no Friday night due to travel), please send the request through the boys and girls team coordinator.  We will try and accommodate any special requests, but there are no guarantees.
Official standings will be processed by the tournament committee at tournament headquarters.

Final results and awards will be posted on this website.
