CMFSC 2013-2014 Season Head Coach Application ProcessCoquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club continues to run one of BC's top girls and boys programs and we will field teams at all levels and age levels were applicable. Be a part of one of BC's fastest growing and most successful soccer clubs. Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club is now accepting applications for Coaching Positions for Under 5 through Under 18 age groups for the 2013-2014 Season.

Minis House Coach Application Process (Under 8 to Under 12)
For Coaches interested for Head Coaching & Assistant Coaching positions for the Under 8 to Under 12 House positions please contact your Age Group Coordinators directly. When registering your child, please indicate on the online registration form that you would like to volunteer for a coaching position.
You do not need to fill out a Coach Application form.

Under 11 & Under 12 Select Head Coach Application Process
For Coaches interested in a Head Coaching Position of an Under 11 or Under 12 Girl’s or Boy’s Select Team. Please fill out an online Coach Application form by clicking on this link.
Applications are due by February 15th and the following positions will be considered.

Coach Selection will be completed by the end of February, early March.
Criteria that is considered for applications:
- Level of son/daughter (must be confirmation that your son/daughter is of the level required to compete on the team their parent is coaching)
- Coaching Certification (please see coaching certification requirements below)
- History Coaching with CMFSC
- Playing Background
- Coaching Reputation
- Reference Checks
Where there is competition for coaching positions for Teams, the Coach Selection Committee consisting of the Club’s Technical Director, Head Coach of Minis (Girl’s or Boy’s respectively), and the Director of Minis may, if felt necessary, conduct an interview process to discuss and select the Head Coach position only.
All applicants will be contacted regarding their application by email or phone. Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer would like to thank all applicants in advance for their interest in our Club.
Assistant Coaches – No formal application is required. Once Head Coaches are in place, you can contact the Team Head Coaches Directly about your interest or you can contact the respective Club Head Coaches (contact information below) . Parent Assistant Coaches are not normally placed until after the player selections.

Coaching Certification Requirements:
Unless determined by the Head Coach/Technical Director, coaches are required to be fully certified at the following levels to be selected as the head coach for a team:
*Please note for a team to compete in the Coastal Cup and Provincial A & B Cup one staff member must hold a Soccer For Life Certification Level. *
In addition, we would like all Metro-Selects Coaches to complete the B Prep, and work towards their B Provincial license and further if they are motivated.
The certification process of Spring 2002 has changed. We will work with all coaches that are unsure of their current certification levels and how previously taken Community Coaching Courses transfer to this certification.
